Jenks Summer School Credit Recovery Enrollment

Please complete this form if your child has failed a course (received an F grade) and would like to take it again during Summer School. Credit Recovery tuition is provided for Jenks Public Schools students through a grant for Summer 2022. Students may only take one (1) course each semester for a total of two (2) courses (one credit) in Summer School. For in-person and online courses, enroll your child for the semester(s) that need to be retaken.

Jenks Summer School First-Time Credit

For students who want to earn first-time credit, or retake a class to improve a passing grade, click here for a complete list of classes.  Or you may click on each individual class below to register. Please contact your child's counselor with any questions you may have regarding what classes to take.

  • For important course and enrollment information, please download the flyer here.
  • Cost is $160 for half credit (one semester) and $320 for one credit (two semesters) if you enroll by April 30, 2022.
  • If you enroll after April 30, cost is $185/$370.
  • Please save your email confirmation as notification that your student is enrolled.
  • Enrollments for JPS students are not finalized until they are approved by a counselor through our automated process.
  • Refunds will be honored through June 2 and will be sent within two weeks of cancellation. There is a $25 withdrawal fee per semester for cancellations.

ONLINE INSTRUCTION:

For online courses, students will work at their own pace from June 2-July 8. A requred in-person orientation for students taking online classes will be held Thursday, June 2 beginning at 8:00am at the Freshman Academy.

Online courses are a hybrid of the regular classroom environment and an online environment. Students can expect to spend 3-6 hours per weekday to stay on track as coursework is vigorous.
