Jenks Community Education offers the ParaPro Assessment for Jenks Public Schoools (JPS) employees and applicants only.
The ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test that is required in many states for paraprofessional certification. Test subjects include reading, writing and math. The test has 90 multiple-choice questions, approximately two-thirds of which focus on basic skills and knowledge. The remaining one-third focus on applying skills in the classroom. All test questions are in English and administered on a laptop.
The test, for JPS employees and applicants only, can be scheduled on Tuesday's, Wednesday's or Thursday's between the hours of 8:00am to 12:30pm.
You will have up to 2 1/2 hours to take the test on a provided laptop computer.
The cost of the test is $65.00. If you do not pass the test you may take the test again after 30 days. The cost of a retake test is also $65.00.
The test location will be at the Jenks Community Education Office in the Jenks Public Schools Community Service Center located at 951 West Main Street, 3rd Floor, Jenks.
